Recovery Resources

Southeast Kansas Recovery Resources is a working coalition comprised of agency and/or organization representatives as well as community members at large, located within Southeast Kansas. Members work together to address a variety of issues surrounding substance use disorder (SUD), opioid use disorder (OUD) and addiction.

Since 2016, under the leadership of Thrive Allen County, the coalition has evolved and transformed into what it is today.  Funding for projects addressed by the coalition have been funded throughout the years through grants received from the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) for youth prevention and the Department of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP), as well as by private donors. The coalition has been able to expand projects from one to three counties in 2018; six in 2021 – Allen, Bourbon, Coffey, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson…and in 2023 have added – Anderson, Crawford and Franklin.  We are excited for the future of Prevention, Treatment and Recovery projects in Southeast Kansas!
