Consumer Referrals and Assistance

Since its inception, Thrive Allen County has been the go-to source when people needed help with the challenges of daily life. We’ve effectively acted as the community’s reference desk. Have a problem you can’t solve on your own? Have nowhere else to turn? Ask Thrive.

Some of the many issues we’ve helped with:

  • Signing up for health insurance (through our Navigator work)
  • Enrollment Assistance
  • Helping arrange transportation to doctor’s appointments
  • Finding people to help install handicap-accessible ramps
  • Helping people file government forms
  • Helping file tax returns
  • Assisting in job applications
  • Helping launch new organizations
  • Recruiting volunteers for community projects
  • Helping organizations write grant applications
  • Connecting consumers with public services

Do you need help with something? Contact us and we’ll see what we can do. Call 620-365-8128, or send us an email through the link below.

Public Speaking

The staff at Thrive Allen County is available for speaking engagements at conferences, workshops, community meetings, and corporate or organizational events.

We are happy to discuss our work at Thrive, and how it can be applied to your community or your group. Our decade of hands-on work in community building, trails development, healthcare advocacy, economic development, healthy foods, active transportation, rural issues, and strategic planning have provided us with a wealth of best practices and “lessons learned”.

It’s not theory or abstraction with us. We are the largest and most prominent rural health advocacy organization in Kansas. Thrive has been named an “Organizational Health Champion“. We’ve helped our community earn a national “Culture of Health” prize from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

We live these issues, every day, and we’re thrilled to share what we’ve learned.

Let’s talk about your event and see what we can make happen.
