Registration is now open for this year’s Jingle Bell Jog, which takes place on December 20, 2014 in Iola, Kansas.
The Jingle Bell Jog is a holiday tradition in Iola, and provides a great way for locals and visitors alike to stay fit and active.
New this year is “Catch the Cookie!” Children 10 and under will have a chance to Run Run as fast as you can….see if you can catch that Gingerbread Man! First place gets their own Gingerbread House.
Dress up, because there will be a special gift for the coolest holiday themed costumes or attire (for children 10 and under).
The Jingle Bell Jog festivities begin at noon and run until about 2:30pm. Late registration, check-in and Catch the Cookie! begins at 12 noon, and the Jingle bell Jog race begins at 1:00pm at the bandstand on the north side of the historic Iola square. Runners get to cross the historic trestle bridge on the Southwind Rail Trail.
