Allen County Tomorrow….ACT. What is this? It’s a Community Conversation. We are familiar with this. For the past several years, Thrive has spent time in each town in the county listening to your successes and challenges. From these conversations, grants have been written and projects have been completed. We are going to do this again. Only we want to have a countywide conversation. All of our towns, having one conversation and one voice that is working towards Thrive’s vision that Allen County will be the healthiest rural county in the state of Kansas.

The Community Conversations take place on August 10 and 11 at B&W Trailer Hitches, 1216 Hwy 224, in Humboldt.

The August 10th event runs from 5pm to 8:30pm, begins with a dinner and a B&W tour, and is followed by the public meeting. The August 11th event is 6-7:30pm, with appetizers provided.

Transportation and child care is available for those who need it.
