Please join Thrive Allen County and members of our community as we gather for Thrive’s 2019 Annual Meeting and Award Presentations, Friday, November 22nd at St. John’s Parish Hall, 310 South Jefferson Street, Iola, Kansas.
Come early for conversation at the Social, beginning at 5:30pm, and stay for a delicious dinner at 6:30pm. The event is open to the public, but please RSVP by email/phone or in-person at Thrive’s office (9 South Jefferson Street) by November 8th. An individual meal is $25, and a table of ten, $250, where the dinner-options are chicken marsala, salmon steak, or vegetable lasagna. The event is capped at 250 participants, so make your reservations today!
After dinner, Thrive will celebrate people and organizations that have made a positive impact in the Allen County community. The following are this year’s award finalists:
Recreation: Allen Community College Student Center, Allen County Fair, and the Community of La Harpe
Education: Ken McWhirter, Katelynn Morgan, and Pat Haire
Health and Wellness: Hope Unlimited, Makayla Ard, and the Monarch Wellness Team
Economic Development: Humboldt Pride, Kelly Sigg, and Tramec
Thrive also grants awards for: Volunteer of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Unsung Hero, and the Donna Talkington Award.
