Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
The CDC is the leading national public health institute of the United States. Through Thrive , the CDC funds the 1422 program, which works to prevent obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke and reduce health disparities through community and health system interventions in Allen County.
Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism
In addition to managing State Parks such as the Prairie Spirit Trail, KDWPT administers federal Recreational Trails grants, which provide funds to develop and maintain recreational trails and trail-related facilities
USDA Rural Development
USDA Office of Rural Development is an agency with the United States Department of Agriculture which runs programs intended to improve the economy and quality of life in rural America.
REACH Healthcare Foundation
The REACH Healthcare Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to improving access and quality of health care for poor and medically underserved individuals through financial support of programs and initiatives.

The Kansas Department of Commerce strives to deliver the highest level of business development, workforce and marketing services that build a healthy and expanding Kansas economy.
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
From large cities to small towns, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is working to eliminate barriers to healthy choices, and help communities create or expand upon the types of systems that many of the healthiest places have in common.
Iola Industries Inc.
Iola Industries promotes economic development in Iola Kansas. In addition to recruiting many of Iola’s largest employers, Iola Industries has taken a leadership role in the redevelopment of the former Allen County Hospital site, which includes the Eastgate Lofts and G&W Grocery. Iola Industries also owns the Lehigh Portland Trails property, which is proving to be a new economic engine for the community.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is the largest health insurer in the state of Kansas, and offers innovative Kansas health insurance coverage, along with a full range of health and wellness initiatives for individuals and businesses.
People for Bikes
People For Bikes collaborates with millions of individual riders, businesses, community leaders, and elected officials to create a powerful, united voice for bicycling and its benefits. Their Community Grant Program provides funding for important and influential projects across the U.S., such as the King of Trails Bridge project in Iola.
APA Kansas
The Kansas Chapter of the American Planning Association is a professional organization representing practicing planners, government officials, and citizens involved with urban, regional, and rural planning issues within the State of Kansas.

The Kansas Health Foundation is a private philanthropy dedicated to improving the health of all Kansans.
PCORI
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute was established to fund research that can help patients and those who care for them make better-informed decisions about the healthcare choices they face every day, guided by those who will use that information.
Kansas Department of Health and Environment
KDHE envisions Healthy Kansans living in safe and sustainable environments, through preventing disease and injury, helping people manage existing health conditions, and promoting healthy behaviors.
AmeriCorps VISTA
AmeriCorps VISTA is a national anti-poverty service program that connects community-minded people with organizations working to alleviate poverty. Thrive Allen County entered the AmeriCorps VISTA program in 2017, with an initial focus on housing, poverty service capacity-building, and healthy food access.
The Sunderland Foundation
The Sunderland Foundation supports nonprofits in the Kansas City region and other areas where the Ash Grove Cement Company does business.

A statewide coalition that works in communities throughout Kansas to encourage people and organizations to promote policies aimed at assuring everyone has the opportunity to attain their highest level of health.
Sunflower Rail-Trails Conservancy
A group of volunteers working to help other organizations develop trails in the state of Kansas.
Allen County Regional Hospital
A 25-bed Joint Commission Accredited Critical Access Hospital and ER located in Iola, Kansas. The medical staff includes primary care physicians, as well as specialists in several areas.
Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas
The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is a federally qualified patient-centered health center dedicated to providing quality health care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.
Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition
The Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition advocates for laws, policies and funding of proven programs to significantly reduce tobacco use and addiction, especially among children and high-risk populations.

A community improvement initiative dedicated to building a healthy, thriving community in Iola Kansas.
Hope Unlimited
Assists victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through services, prevention and community awareness in the southeast Kansas counties of Allen, Anderson, Neosho and Woodson.
Kansas Alliance for Wellness
A statewide network committed to improving the health of Kansans by creating healthy food and beverage environments.

Allen County Farmers’ Market
A weekly open air fresh food market in Iola that features locally-grown produce, baked goods, plants, eggs, meat, and honey.
Moran Pride Thrive
A local volunteer group dedicated to improving the community through service projects in Moran KS.
Southwind Rail Trail
A volunteer-built and volunteer-maintained 6.5-mile rail-trail linking Iola and Humboldt.
Kansas Trails Council
The Kansas Trails Council is dedicated to promoting the development and enjoyment of Kansas trails.
