Thrive’s impact on the region continues to grow. In less than three years’ time, the non-profit has gone from an annual budget of $50,000 to one of almost $400,000, primarily through securing grants from a variety of sources.

Allen Countians turned their backs on anti-tax fervor, convinced that better days lie ahead. By a 3-to-1 margin, voters approved a quarter-cent sales tax to build a new Allen County Hospital.

A good time was had by all in the old town July 9 through the wee hours of July 10 at the second annual Charley Melvin Mad Bomber Run and Festival. An estimated 1,100 attended the festivities starting on Friday afternoon.
