It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The nominees are in for the 2020 Thrive Awards for Excellence. Thank you to all who nominated individuals, organizations, and businesses who did amazing work this year. Mildred Store Music Nights for bringing big fun and big audiences to their small community
Miss Chelsea’s Dance Academy for pivoting to online classes to keep young dancers engaged

In Health and Wellness:
Allen County Sheriff’s Office for keeping Meals on Wheels running during the COVID-19 stay-at-home order
Southeast Kansas Multi-County Health Department for leadership on health best practices
Humboldt Fitness Center for providing a new, supportive space for Allen Countians to reach health goals

In Education:
Crossroads: Change in Rural America for sparking conversations about rural life past, present, and future
Melissa Stiffler for educating a workforce-ready generation at Iola High School’s Career and Technical Education
Black Lives Matter Solidarity Rally for fostering peaceful dialog around difficult issues of racial inequity
